alexandra began this journey while planning her own wedding in 2017 - ' i experienced difficulties sourcing bespoke and unique furnishings and accessories similar in style to what we provide for our customers in our retail store in orange '
so with that motivation … the white place lifestyle and events was born.
boutique events and hire business
our goal is to develop a boutique events and hire business that caters for weddings, corporate functions, parties and celebrations. we offer a wide (and ever-expanding) range of furniture, decor items and large-scale props with a fresh and modern style.
however we are not just a hire company! we aim to make organising your event as easy as possible. Since launching in 2018 we are continuously evolving and now offer styling and consultation for events, especially weddings.
We also welcomed Alexandra's sister, Sophie to the business at the beginning of 2019 and now have a showroom in Orange where you can book an appointment and meet with Sophie to go through all your event needs.
We also offer a graphic design service - with Oh Dear Design on board and we will be able to sort all of your print needs.
Oh Dear Design is the brain child of jess, alex’s sister in law. jess provides custom graphic design - think invitations, name cards, menus, stationary, signage and much more. from the first enquiry, Jess delivers her customers an exceptional level of professional service.
in addition there is also the option of our in-store gift registry service. we have a shop full of beautiful furniture, bed linen and homewares for your perusal. make an appointment with alex and she will guide you through the process from selection to the inclusion in your invitations for your guests' easy access. complimentary gift wrapping and delivery is included
more recently we have eagerly welcomed pip on board. pip has "the flour pantry" and specializes in custom baking, think gorgeous cakes and desserts made locally and to suit your special event

If there is something you can’t find in our product listing or if you are after that special personalised piece please let us know. While our collection is always growing, we are more than happy to attempt to source your specific needs - ask away and we will try to hunt it down (or make it!!)
we can deliver your hired items or alternatively they can be picked up from our warehouse in orange. for a customised delivery quote please email email@example.com
a 20% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking with the balance due 2 weeks prior to the date of your event.
a 5% damage waiver is added to all bookings to cover for breakage for wear and tear. we provide extensive T&C's at time of booking for you to return and sign
