One season

There comes a time in winter, every year, when the shackles finally break and the streets come alive again. We shed our winter clothes and show some skin, ride out into the late winter air, and begin the long walk into the summer ahead.

Late in the winter of 2006, Shani Anderson formed a vision for the summer to come. She had been in the fashion industry for 30 years, and wanted to create a collection that would change the way Australian women looked in the seaside towns and on the sand.

oneseason followed soon after, with a timeless collection of relaxed dresses, shifts, and throw over pieces that became renowned for their considered, simple, and elegant design.

From her first range in 2006 and all the way through, Shani’s pieces have been crafted with the finest quality Indian cotton and viscose. All of her prints are designed by hand, just for her, and finished with a unique wash.

Today, oneseason evolves with every passing year, growing out from its home in Melbourne and into more than 120 stores around the country. Along with the stockists in Australia and New Zealand, you’ll find oneseason clothing in over 200 stores across Europe and in selected stores in South Africa.
